Day 1: DEPART FROM US

We depart today and enjoy our overnight flight to Munich. Dinner and Breakfast will be served aloft.


Day 2: ARRIVAL IN MUNICH - SALZBURG (2 NIGHTS)

Upon arrival we meet our tour host and are immediately transported in Munich the "un-proclaimed capital of Germany." Arriving in the city we take a short walking tour including the Old Town Square, with the famous Glockenspiel; Munich's Cathedral, the Theresienwiese, where the popular Oktoberfest is held; and the "victualien" market - an overwhelming array of sights and smells. From here, travel to Salzburg, one of Europe's most charming cities, admired equally for its magnificent setting among the Alps and for its special fame in the world of music as the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Dinner and overnight.


Day 3: SALZBURG

This morning, a walking city tour of Salzburg is planned. A baroque jewel in a perfect mountain setting on both banks of the Salzach River, the city and the surrounding countryside are dominated by the magnificent Festung Hohensalzburg, a 12th century fortress 500 feet above the town. Continue past the birthplace of Mozart, now a museum; the 17th century Residenzplatz, with its 40-foot high fountain; and the Benedictine Abbey of St. Peter. Later our afternoon is at leisure for independent shopping and sightseeing before preparing for our CONCERT this evening. Dinner and overnight. *Concert Tonight in Salzburg


Day 4: SALZBURG - PRAGUE (3 NIGHTS)

This morning we depart Salzburg and travel to Oberndorf to the world famous "Silent Night Chapel," the birth place of the worlds most loved Christmas Carol. Later we travel to Prague with an early evening arrival. After hotel check-in and dinner, enjoy an independent evening walking tour of this beautiful city which is even more impressive by night; all of the buildings are illuminated and appear to be out of a movie set. Walk across the St. Charles Bridge for a view of the city from a unique angle. It is not surprising to learn that Prague was the major filming site for the movie, "Amadeus". Dinner and overnight.


Day 5: PRAGUE

This morning we take a nice walking tour of Prague including the Old Town. This afternoon is at leisure for independent sightseeing and shopping before our CONCERT tour this evening. Dinner in a local restaurant including a folkshow. Overnight in Prague. *Concert Tonight in Prague


Day 6: PRAGUE

Today we visit the Hradcany complex. Once the seat of Bohemian kings and now the official residence of the President of the Republic, the complex is over a thousand years old. We then have an afternoon CONCERT at St. Nicholas Church (subject to availability) . Remainder of the afternoon and evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight. *Concert this Afternoon in Prague


Day 7: PRAGUE - VIENNA (3 NIGHTS)

Depart Prague and travel to Vienna, the "City of Music" and the capital of the Republic of Austria. On arrival, check-in at the hotel for dinner and overnight.


Day 8: VIENNA

Today we have a sightseeing tour passing some of the most important sights of Vienna: the Hofburg, former Imperial winter residence and scene of the Vienna Congress; the Ringstrasse, with its magnificent buildings such as the Opera House, National Museums, Parliament, the Burgtheater, the University and the Votive Church; St. Charles' Church, Vienna's most beautiful Baroque church; the Musikverein, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra; and Belvedere Palace, which was built for Prince Eugene, Commander of the Imperial Army. The afternoon's excursion will take you to the edge of the Hungarian Plain and Neusiedler Sea, a very shallow salt water lake. There are a myriad of birds in the reeds and on the shores. Passing Laxenburg Castle, the tour takes you to Eisenstadt, the capital of Burgenland, best known as the place where Josef Haydn lived and worked for most of his life in the service of the Esterhazys. Visit the Haydn mausoleum and the Bergkirche where the body of Haydn lays in an elaborate tomb of white marble, built by his grateful master, Prince Esterhazy. We have Dinner, followed by a CONCERT. Return to Vienna for overnight. *Concert Tonight in Eisenstadt


Day 9: VIENNA

Our sightseeing today begins with a visit to Hofburg Palace, residence of the Hapsburgs and home of the famous Spanish Riding School. We attend a morning training session of the beautiful and famous white Lippizaner horses. We then continue to Schonbrunn Palace to see the apartments occupied by emperor Franz -Josef. The remainder of the afternoon and evening you are free to explore Vienna one last time. Dinner and overnight.


Day 10: VIENNA - USA

Morning departure from Vienna on an international flight to the USA.
