First Class Tour
September through
May Day 1: Depart USA We depart the USA today for an overnight flight to the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires. Sit back, relax and enjoy the service while in flight. Day 2: Arrive in Buenos Aires Upon our arrival in Buenos Aires our tour escort will meet our group and help assist with our transfer to our hotel. En route to our hotel we will enjoy an orientation tour of Buenos Aires known as the “Paris of South America” with its wide boulevards and outdoor cafes. The remainder of our day will be free for our leisure. Day 3: Tour Buenos Aires After breakfast we will enjoy a full day tour of Buenos Aires to include the Plaza de Mayo Square, the Government House, the Cabildo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Mayo Avenue, the Congress Palace, the Colón Theatre, La Boca neighborhood, Palermo, the Planetarium and La Recoleta with its famous cemetery. This evening we will arrange to have dinner and conversation with a public official. Day 4: Fiesta Gaucha Touring This morning we travel to an estancia, a typical Argentinian ranch. An Argentinian Ranch is an ideal place to appreciate the Argentine gaucho skills in cattle breeding and horseback riding. This tour will also enjoy the typical Argentinean barbecue, the “asado": cow ribs placed on an iron grid and grilled on wood embers. This evening we will return to Buenos Aires and enjoy a special dinner & Tango Program show in a traditional “tangueria”. After a delicious dinner, the best singers and dancers will perform a memorable show with the music, liric and dance of Tango, an authentic symbol of Buenos Aires city. Day 5: City of Colonia De Sacramento After breakfast we travel by catamaran to Uruguay and the World Heritage city of Colonia de Sacramento. We enjoy a guided tour of Colonia de Sacramento which was founded by Portuguese settlers from Brazil in 1680. This town held a strategic position as a smuggling outpost for transporting British goods across the Rio de la Plata into the Spanish colonies throughout the 17th century. Today its charm lies in its narrow streets and colonial buildings. We will return to Buenos Aires this afternoon for some free time before enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

6: Tigre and Buenos Aires Free Time Day 7: Fly to Santiago This morning, tour Puerto Varas, visiting Philippi Hill for a view of the city. En route to Puerto Montt, stop at Calvario Hill for another panoramic view. Visit picturesque Angelmó Cove, with its market that offers a wide range of fish, seafood and crafts. Fly this afternoon to Santiago, Chile.
