Day 1, Thursday
Overnight flight from USA.
Day 2, Friday
Arrive in Amman. Overnight in Amman 2 nights.
Day 3, Saturday
Visit the Jabbok River. See the Decapolis city Jerash, associated with the Gerasenes. Tour the Amman Citadel.
Day 4, Sunday
Transfer and visit to Petra. See Mount Hor and the land of Edom. Overnight in Petra.
Day 5, Monday
Cross into Saudi Arabia and the land of Midian. Visit Jethro’s Caves, Moses’ Well, Elim, and the Split Rock of Horeb. Overnight in Tabuk for 3 nights.
Day 6, Tuesday
Visit Ship Rock, the Golden Calf Altar, Jabal Maqla, Moses Altar, and 3000-person grave.
Day 7, Wednesday
Option to climb Jabal Maqla. See the plateau, the summit, and Elijah’s cave.
Day 8, Thursday
Cross into Jordan. Sun City Camp or similar for 2 nights.
Day 9, Friday
Option for hot air balloon ride. Wadi Rum tour including Jeep ride.
Day 10, Saturday
Visit to Machaerus, transfer to Amman with free time to explore on own. Overnight in Amman 2 nights.
Day 11, Sunday
Visit to Madaba, see the ancient map. Visit Mount Nebo in the Pisgah range, where Moses viewed the Promised Land and Balaam looked out over the Israelites. Float in the Dead Sea.
Day 12, Monday
Flight home.
