Day 1, December 5, 2023: Departure

Overnight flight to Munich.

Day 2, December 6, 2023: Arrival in Munich

Upon arrival, we will begin our drive through the breath taking alps and enjoy lunch at the Panorama restaurant. The first two nights will be spent in the 12th century castle in Mittersill, Austria.

Day 3, December 7, 2023: Kitzbuhel Christmas Market

Today, we day trip to Kitzbuhel for our first Christmas market. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the area and the castle amenities.

Day 4, December 8, 2023: Salzburg Christmas Market

This morning, we transfer to Salzburg and tour the historic Hohensalzburg Castle, dating back to the 11th century. The afternoon is spent at one of Salzburg’s many Christmas markets.

Day 5, December 9, 2023: Silent Night Chapel & Mirabell Palace

The first stop this morning is the famous Silent Night Chapel, where the now beloved Christmas carol was first performed. The afternoon is spent exploring Salzburg, the home of Mozart.

Day 6, December 10, 2023: Vienna Christmas Market

Our transfer this morning brings us to Vienna. Here, we take the afternoon and sight see. Our day concludes at one of Vienna’s famous Christmas markets.

Day 7, December 11, 2023: Schoenbrunn Palace

Our sightseeing in Vienna continues at the Schoenbrunn Palace, the summer residence of Habsburg rulers. This afternoon we enjoy the Schoenbrunn Christmas market.

Day 8, December 12, 2023: Vienna Hofburg

On our last full day in Vienna, we begin with enjoying more sightseeing within the city, including a stop at the Hofburg Palace. Our afternoon is spent at the last of our Christmas markets, the Christmas village at Belvedere Palace. Our evening comes to a close with dinner and a concert at the Schoebrunn castle.

Day 9, December 13, 2023: Depart for home

We depart from Vienna and arrive back in the late afternoon.
