Day 1: Shenandoah Valley

We travel South through the lovely Shenandoah Valley to our lodging for this evening in Kingsport, Tennessee. After checking into our rooms, dinner will be at a local restaurant with exciting entertainment to follow.

Day 2: General Jackson

Following breakfast at the hotel, we head west to the Capital of Country Music, Nashville, Tennessee. By mid- afternoon, we arrive at our hotel in Nashville for the next two nights. Dinner this evening will be aboard the General Jackson Showboat. This four-deck paddlewheeler brings back the bygone days with its new musical revue "Rolling On the River" while cruising the Cumberland River.

Day 3: Grand Ole Opry

We start off our morning with a city tour of Nashville which will include a tour of the Ryman Auditorium. As the historic former home of the Grand Ole Opry, "The Carnegie Hall of the South" has long entertained greatness while filling the hall with its rich music. Then it's off to the Wildhorse Saloon for lunch with a tribute to the one and only former country star, Minnie Pearl. We continue with a guided tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame. This 40,000 square foot facility not only exhibits the roots of country music, but its architecture itself celebrates music in its design and materials. After our visit to this newest addition in Nashville, we will enjoy having our dinner at Rachel's Café in the beautiful Opryland Hotel. While in the Opryland Hotel, enjoy the indoor gardens, waterfalls, unique shops, and Delta's indoor river. After dinner, the highlight of our day will be to attend a live radio performance of the famous Grand Ole Opry.

Day 4: Fantasy of Lights

A special breakfast this morning at the Rainforest Café located in Opry Mills. Enjoy a "wild" breakfast and tour of this unique dining experience as you step into the jungle setting. After breakfast, we will head toward our next destination of the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas. Both towns celebrate this magical time of the year with millions of lights along the Parkway. Upon arrival by mid-afternoon, we will check into our Pigeon Forge hotel to drop our bags and freshen up. This afternoon, we will visit the Incredible Christmas Place for some holiday shopping located in the Bell Tower Square. After our shopping trip, take in the Holiday splendor as we drive along the Parkway to Gatlinburg for the "Fantasy of Lights". Dinner at the Alabama Grill before an entertaining evening as we attend the Christmas Show of country entertainer, Louise Mandrell. After her show and on our way back to the hotel, enjoy the magic of the Winterfest lights along the Parkway in Pigeon Forge.

Day 5: Dollywood

Breakfast at our hotel this morning before visiting the Louise Mandrell Theatre once again as guests of a non-denominational church Sunday morning church service. After the service, we head to Dollywood Theme Park, the Entertainment Capital of the Smokies! Experience the natural beauty of the Smokies with live musical shows, including "Christmas in the Smokies", and handmade crafts. We will enjoy dinner in the park at the Country Christmas Pavilion or Aunt Granny's Restaurant. An early evening departure from Dollywood as we head toward our Virginia destination for our overnight stay.

Day 6: Roanoke Valley

After breakfast at the hotel, we will board our coach to travel through the beautifully scenic Roanoke Valley. Along the way, we will make a stop at the Historic Farmers' Market in Roanoke, the oldest such market in continuous use in Virginia.
