Price Includes: 6 Meals (2 dinners and 4 breakfasts). Round trip airport transfers. Washington, DC, touring. Tour Mount Vernon, home of George and Martha Washington. Experience the festivities of historic Colonial Williamsburg during the Christmas Season. Enjoy a Christmas celebration at the Carter's Grove Mansion and Plantation. Dine at a traditional Colonial Williamsburg tavern. Attend a farewell Christmas dinner including holiday entertainment.
Airport transfers are included only when airfare is purchased from Pilgrim Tours. Taxi service is available for those purchasing their airfare elsewhere.
Deposit Required: $300 per person will reserve your place. A $100 service fee will be charged for cancellation at any time in addition to our normal payment and cancellation policy.
Day 1: Arrive in Washington, DC
Welcome to our nation's capital, Washington, DC. The holiday spirit can be seen throughout the city as you transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Day 2: DC Touring and Williamsburg
Experience the holiday splendor of Washington, DC. Learn about our heritage as we enjoy a driving tour of the area. View such landmarks as the White House, Capitol Hill, The Washington Monument and more. Next, we visit Mount Vernon, home of George and Martha Washington. See the estate decorated for the holiday season and hear stories about how George and Martha celebrated. This afternoon we arrive in Colonial Williamsburg and enjoy dinner at a historic tavern located in the heart of Williamsburg. (Breakfast and dinner)
Day 3: Celebrate Christmas Past
For nearly a century Williamsburg was the social, cultural and political center of a fledgling nation. To re-create an early American atmosphere, all 88 public buildings have been restored to their original state. Christmastime in Williamsburg is an experience to be cherished. Christmas traditions have been handed down over generations. As you stroll along the streets you feel the excitement of "Christmas Past" while period costumed guides and craftsmen re-create the colonial style of life. Tonight enjoy a holiday show featuring music of the Christmas season. (Breakfast)
Day 4: Williamsburg
Continue exploring the historic district of Williamsburg today. Be sure to visit the Capitol, Governor's Palace and Bassett Hall. Christmas is in the air as we hear the sounds of carolers singing our favorite Christmas songs. This evening we bid farewell to Williamsburg with a festive Christmas dinner followed by a visit to Carter's Grove Plantation and Mansion. Join Molly McCrea for a special Carter's Grove Christmas party. (Breakfast and dinner)
Day 5: Return Home
After breakfast, we return to Washington, DC, for flights after 2 p.m. We take with us warm memories of Christmastime in Williamsburg. (Breakfast)
