Price Includes: All motor coach and land transportation, sightseeing, admissions, services of tour director and driver, lodging, meals as specified in tour itinerary, taxes, gratuities to bellhops and waiters at included meals.


Not Included: Cost of obtaining passports or visas, laundry, meals, beverages or sightseeing not included in the itinerary, travel insurance, gratuity to guide, driver, communication charges, & excess baggage fees. Port charges and gratuities to crew are not included on cruises.


Airport transfers are included only when airfare is purchased from Pilgrim Tours. Taxi service is available for those purchasing their airfare elsewhere.


Deposit Required: $300 per person will reserve your place. A $100 service fee will be charged for cancellation at any time in addition to our normal payment and cancellation policy.

Treat yourself to an exciting 10 days featuring the most spectacular scenery the West has to offer. Begin your journey amongst the majesty of the Grand Tetons. This incredible mountain range has peaks that exceed 13,000 feet and glaciers that grace its eastern slopes. Next, on to Yellowstone! Elk, moose, bison and even grizzly bear - wildlife is all around. One short walk will give you an opportunity to view all four types of geothermal features found on earth. Head north to the Canadian Rockies where Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks await. Join us on an excursion from geysers to glaciers, a vacation remembered for years to come!


Day 1: Arrive In Salt Lake City

Upon arrival, transfer on your own to the beautiful Salt Lake Hilton. The lovely skyline of this city is nestled at the base of the Wasatch Mountains. Tonight, your Tour Director hosts a Welcome Reception. This is a great opportunity to meet your traveling companions. Overnight at the Salt Lake Hilton.


Day 2: Salt Lake City To Jackson, Wyoming

This morning, enjoy a brief tour of Salt Lake City. Highlights include the Salt Lake Palace, Temple Square and the Mormon Tabernacle. Later, travel north towards Logan, Utah. Climb through the Wasatch Mountains and descend towards the awe-inspiring shores of Bear Lake. Next, traverse the Star Valley and follow the Snake River into Jackson Hole. Overnight at the Lodge at Jackson Hole. (B,D)


Day 3: Jackson Hole To Yellowstone

Begin this morning with a tour of Grand Teton National Park. You will have ample time to marvel at the Chapel of Transfiguration and several overlooks of one of the most distinctive mountain ranges on earth. Next, proceed through the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway with its pristine forests and river edge byways. Arrive at the southern border of Yellowstone, America's oldest and largest national park in the lower 48 states, then journey along the Lewis River Canyon and Lewis Falls. This afternoon, enjoy a walk along the Upper Geyser Basin at Old Faithful. Settle in for two nights at the Old Faithful Inn. (B,D)


Day 4: Yellowstone Sightseeing ~ Old Faithful

Sightseeing today takes you through the moon-like wonders of Yellowstone National Park. Begin with a brief walk along the Fountain Paint Pots Nature Trail. Next, stop at Norris Geyser Basin and overlook the Porcelain Basin, one of the hottest and most volatile geyser basins on earth. You will then journey into one of the most beautiful regions of Yellowstone National Park, the Northern Loop, where you will admire the wonders of Mammoth Hot Springs. Later, explore the south rim of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and view the Lower Falls, which tumble twice the height of Niagara. Then, proceed through Hayden Valley, home to elk, moose, bison and grizzly bear. This afternoon return to Old Faithful Inn, where you have free time for shopping, walking, and absorbing the beauty of the park. (B,D)


Day 5: Yellowstone to Missoula

A special treat awaits you this morning. A spectacular and scenic journey through the Gallatin Canyon, where wildlife abounds, brings you to Missoula, Montana. This evening, stretch your legs and stroll through the historic downtown district. Missoula had one of the first lumber mills in the region and the frontier history of the town seems to seep from the turn-of-the-century brick buildings. Overnight at Doubletree Hotel. (B,D)


Day 6: Missoula to Glacier National Park

This morning, you venture into Flathead Country. Proceed through the Flathead Indian Reservation, where your Tour Director will recount the battles of the Flathead, Blackfeet and Nez Perce Indians. Later, travel into Glacier National Park to Lake McDonald Lodge. After lunch board a touring van for an unforgettable journey over the Going-to-the-Sun-Highway. This high-elevation road is acclaimed as one of the most scenic roadways of the world! Arrive in St. Mary's to rejoin your motorcoach and proceed to the Great Bear Lodge. Overnight at Great Bear Lodge. (B,D)


Day 7: Glacier National Park to Waterton Lakes National Park

Enjoy a leisurely morning at Great Bear Lodge as you take in the sights of Glacier National Park. After breakfast, continue to one of the most pristine valleys in North America - Waterton Lakes National Park. The Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park is the first of its kind and encompasses not only the spectacular peaks of the U.S. Rockies, but also the glacial valleys on the northern slopes in Canada. Today is highlighted by an included cruise on Waterton Lake. Later this afternoon, finish the day at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Like something out of a storybook, this magnificent structure stands proudly overlooking the beautiful lake country of Waterton. Overnight at the Prince of Wales Hotel or Glacier Park Hotel (on select departures). (B,D)


Day 8: Waterton National Park To Banff

Your journey today takes you through the towns of Cowley and Longview, Alberta. Ascend the foothills of the Canadian Rockies to Banff, in Canada's oldest national park. In Banff, experience majestic beauty beyond your wildest dreams. Tonight, you may enjoy the excellent choice of restaurants in Banff. Overnight at the Royal Canadian Lodge. (B)


Day 9: Banff Sightseeing

After a late-morning start, relax and enjoy this alpine wonderland. Proceed north to the Chateau Lake Louise for a tour of this magnificent picturesque property. Then visit Moraine Lake and the Valley of Ten Peaks before returning to Banff for sightseeing. Included in your afternoon tour are Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain, and a chance to take an optional gondola ride to the top of 7,500-foot Sulphur Mountain. The rest of the afternoon is free for shopping, or a relaxing swim in the hot springs. This evening, be the guest of your Tour Director at a Farewell Dinner in the hotel. Overnight at the Royal Canadian Lodge. (B,FD)


Day 10: Banff To Calgary ~ Home

A morning departure brings you to the Calgary International Airport, the end of your journey from Geysers to Glaciers. Arrival at the airport is around 12:00 p.m. Please schedule flights after 2:00 p.m. (B)
