Price Includes: All motor coach and land transportation, sightseeing, admissions, services of tour director and driver, lodging, meals as specified in tour itinerary, taxes, gratuities to bellhops and waiters at included meals.

Not Included: Cost of obtaining passports or visas, laundry, meals, beverages or sightseeing not included in the itinerary, travel insurance, gratuity to guide, driver, communication charges, & excess baggage fees. Port charges and gratuities to crew are not included on cruises.

Airport transfers are included only when airfare is purchased from Pilgrim Tours. Taxi service is available for those purchasing their airfare elsewhere.

Deposit Required: $300 per person will reserve your place. A $100 service fee will be charged for cancellation at any time in addition to our normal payment and cancellation policy.

Day 1: Portland, Maine

We depart early this morning and travel north through Pennsylvania and into New England arriving this evening at our Portland, Maine hotel. Dinner this evening will be at an historic Portland restaurant.

Day 2: Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park

After a hearty buffet breakfast, sit back and enjoy the scenic drive through mid-coast Maine to Mt. Desert Island, which is celebrated for its breathtaking beauty ever since the island was discovered in 1604 by Samuel de Champlain. After lunch on our own and time to explore the shops in the village of Bar Harbor, we board our motorcoach for a guided tour of Acadian National Park. See the beauty that has attracted the elite to this area for years with its 9 mountains over 1000 feet high, stone bridges and carriage trails. After our tour we check into our waterfront hotel overlooking the scenic Frenchman's Bay. A special treat this evening is our Maine lobster dinner.

Day 3: Nova Scotia

Rise and shine early this morning for our ferry trip on the high-speed catamaran to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Breakfast will be served on board The Cat as we speed our way east. Upon landing in Yarmouth, we reboard our coach and meet our "kilted" guide and travel along Nova Scotia's scenic South Shore, including a visit to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic in the beautiful seaside town of Lunenburg before we arrive in Halifax for a two-night stay. Dinner is included this evening.

Day 4: Halifax and Peggy's Cove

Today we begin with a tour of Halifax, the capitol of Nova Scotia. We visit the famous Citadel Hill and stroll through Halifax Public Gardens. This afternoon we are off to visit the fishing village of Peggy's Cove with its picturesque lighthouse perched atop the wave-washed rocks. We return to our Halifax hotel for some free time before dinner this evening.

Day 5: Eastern Shore

This morning we enjoy an unforget-table drive along Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore, also known as Marine Drive, where forest meets the sea. Our route wends its way through a land of pristine coastal beauty where quiet shoreline roads lead through romantic seaside villages, and the past is a colorful part of everyday life. We stop in Sherbrooke Village, a captivating living history museum of restored buildings which looks as it did 100 years ago. This afternoon we continue along the Eastern Shore to Cape Breton Island where we spend two nights.

Day 6: Cabot Trail

Today we travel one of the most scenic highways on the continent, the Cabot Trail. We head north towards the Cape Breton National Park with its more than 350 square miles of protected highlands and coastal wilderness. A fun picnic lunch will be included in the park before we continue on to visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum while in Baddeck. Dinner will be included upon our return to our hotel.

Day 7: Prince Edward Island

This morning we visit the Hector Heritage Quay in Pictou, featuring a replica of the ship used to transport Scottish immigrants. We then board the ferry for the trip to the enchanted Prince Edwards Island where we will be for two nights. Dinner this evening is lobster (with alternative choice available).

Day 8: Ann of Green Gables

Today we have a full day of the sights, legends, and history of Prince Edward Island, Canada's tiniest province. Prince Edward Island National Park, Woodleigh Replicas and of course Green Gables, "Anne's" house, are some of the places we will visit today. This evening we will enjoy the Mariners Feast with local entertainers who fiddle and perform step-dancing along with Celtic music as we enjoy our festive dinner.

Day 9: Reversing Falls and Magnetic Hill

Our adventure today begins by crossing 12.9 kilometer Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick. This bridge, the longest in the world over ice-covered waters, takes approximately 10 minutes to cross at normal traveling speed. Upon reaching New Brunswick, we have a brief stop at magical "Magnetic Hill" before traveling along the Bay of Fundy. We stop at Hopewell Rocks - also known as the "Flowerpot Rocks" - before driving through Fundy National Park on our way to the Loyalist city of St. John. We enjoy dinner overlooking the Reversing Falls before settling in our St. John hotel for the evening.

Day 10: Return to Maine

We return to the USA this morning and travel to the coastal town of Freeport, home of L. L. Bean and many more outlets. We have free time to browse before dinner in a Freeport restaurant. We then travel south to our Portland hotel for overnight.

Day 11: Boston

This morning we depart for "Beantown" where we meet our guide to begin a tour of Boston's historic neighborhoods. We'll ride along the Freedom Trail to see the USS Constitution - "Old Ironsides" - and disvoer some of Boston's most famous sites - such as the Old North Church where lanterns were hung to warn of the British invasion. Lunch and free time will be at the famous Quincy Market. This afternoon we depart for historic Sturbridge, Massachusetts for our final night in New England. An "American Heritage" dinner will be served in colonial style at the historic Publick House Inn.

Day 12: Carousel Museum

We travel to Bristol, Connecticut where we visit the enchanting New England Carousel Museum which is home to one of the largest collections of antique carousel pieces in the country. We have lunch in Bristol before departing for home with our wonderful memories of New England and Atlantic Canada floating in our heads.
