If you arrive early, you may want to head down to the waterfront to take in one of Chicago's great museums or stroll along Navy Pier, the city's newest attraction. Our Tour Director will be available to assist you with check in and offer suggestions for dining this evening. The Mart Plaza, Chicago, Illinois (2 nights).

Day 2: Chicago

Following our welcome breakfast we enjoy a guided city tour. See why Chicago is nicknamed "America's Architectural Museum." View the Wrigley Building, Water Tower Place, the famed Sears Tower and visit Navy Pier for the best view of the Chicago skyline. Spend the afternoon shopping along Michigan Avenue's "Magnificent Mile." This evening we enjoy dinner at a popular Chicago restaurant. Breakfast and dinner.

Day 3: Sault Ste. Marie

Head north into Michigan's Upper Peninsula today to Sault Ste. Marie situated between Lake Superior and Lake Huron. Breakfast and dinner, Hampton Inn, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan (2 nights).

Day 4: Autumn Foliage Agawa Canyon Train

All aboard the Algoma Central Railway this morning for a beautiful journey into the Canadian wilderness. The old-fashioned train winds its way north to Agawa Canyon. Here you may climb the lookout to photograph the waterfalls and rocky cliffs or explore the winding trails. This is a wonderful ride through an area of great natural beauty to view spectacular autumn foliage. There is time to get off the train and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast and dinner.

Day 5: Mackinac Island

This morning we ferry over to Mackinac Island, a picturesque spot in Lake Huron that still preserves the charm of a bygone era. Because there are no cars, we tour the island by horse-drawn carriage. Relax and step back in time as you enjoy the atmosphere of this unique treasure. This evening enjoy an included dinner at the Grand Hotel at your leisure. Dinner, the Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island, Michigan.

Day 6: Frankenmuth

After free time this morning we drive to Frankenmuth, a delightful little town that is proud of its German heritage. This evening we'll celebrate our Great Lakes tour with a special farewell dinner. Breakfast and dinner, the Bavarian Inn, Frankenmuth, Michigan.

Day 7: Return Home
