Price Includes: All motor coach and land transportation, sightseeing, admissions, services of tour director and driver, lodging, meals as specified in tour itinerary, taxes, gratuities to bellhops and waiters at included meals.
Not Included: Cost of obtaining passports or visas, laundry, meals, beverages or sightseeing not included in the itinerary, travel insurance, gratuity to guide, driver, communication charges, & excess baggage fees. Port charges and gratuities to crew are not included on cruises.
Airport transfers are included only when airfare is purchased from Pilgrim Tours. Taxi service is available for those purchasing their airfare elsewhere.
Deposit Required: $300 per person will reserve your place. A $100 service fee will be charged for cancellation at any time in addition to our normal payment and cancellation policy.
Day 1: Welcome to México
Arrive in Mérida; Meet your Tour Director at the airport and transfer to your Hotel. Dinner at the Hotel. Your Tour Director will let a Walking Tour around the Zocalo.
Day 2: Mérida City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the city of Mérida founded by the Spanish conquistadors in 1542, visit the Cathedral, the Governor's palace, Montejo Blvd with it's magnificent mansions, continue to Progreso beach, (Lunch on your own) return to Mérida. Afternoon visit to local market led by your Tour Director. Dinner at the Hotel.
Day 3: Mérida – Uxmal
Breakfast at the Hotel. Visit the Ecological Reserve of “Celestun” home of the Pink Flamingos, watch them closely as you approach in a quiet boat. Then on to Uxmal, the trice build city and the biggest Mayan city in the Puuc Region. Guided visit of Uxmal. Dinner in a nearby restaurant, at 19:00 hrs will return to the site in order to attend the Light & Sound show, a breathtaking experience. Return to Mérida.
Day 4: Mérida – Valladolid
Breakfast at the Hotel; today's journey takes us to the most impressive and important city in the Mayan civilization, Chichen Itza, guided visit of the site including the old Chichen. Lunch on your own in a nearby restaurant. Continue to X-Keken Cenote, an underground lake where we'll be able to swim and cool off. Check into the Hotel in Valladolid; a charming Spanish city with great atmosphere. Dinner at the Hotel for Yucatecan cuisine.
Day 5: Valladolid – Cancun
Early in the morning, right after breakfast we'll get on board in order to visit Tulum, a Mayan city in front of the Mexican Caribbean Ocean, the perfect spot to have your postal picture taken, guided visit of the site. Continue to Xel-Ha, a natural inlet where you'll be able to snorkel, swim with lots of tropical fish or just relax at the beach. Transfer to Cancun and check into your Hotel. Your Tour Director will led a tour to the shopping centers by public transportation. Dinner at the Hotel.
Day 6: Cancun
Breakfast at the Hotel. Free day to enjoy yourself in Cancun. Ask your Tour Director for different activities in Cancun like a nice cruise trip to Isla Mujeres, jungle tours, shopping options, parasailing etc... Dinner at the Hotel.
Day 7: Cancun
Breakfast at the Hotel. Check with your Tour Director for optional activities in Cancun. Shopping is great for souvenirs down town Cancun. Or just tan yourself at the beach. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 8: Cancun – Home
Breakfast at the Hotel; at schedule time, transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
