Day 1: Departure

Relax on our night flight to Malta.

Day 2: Arrival & Transfer to Hotel

We arrive at our Mediterranean paradise and are greeted by our tour host during our stay. After Customs formalities we begin with a brief tour en route to the hotel, then free time to explore on your own before a lovely dinner.

Day 3: Valletta, St. John's Co-Cathedral, Malta Experience

This morning we start off with a half day tour of Valletta with visits to the Upper Barrakka Gardens, St. John's Co-Cathedral, St. Paul's Church, and the Malta Experience Multi Vision show, depicting 5000 years of Maltese History. This afternoon will be yours to enjoy at leisure.

Day 4: Blue Grotto, Hagar Qim Temples, Marsaxlokk Village

Today we will have a full day tour with visits to The Blue Grotto (boat charges to be paid direct) Hagar Qim Neolithic temples, Marsaxlokk Fishing Village and Ghar Dalam pre-historic cave.

Day 5: Harbor Cruise & Free Time

Departure from the hotel to the Sliema Ferries for a Harbour Cruise by Captain Morgan Cruises. A detailed commentary will unfold the history of Valletta and the Three Cities connected with two Great Sieges of 1565 and 1942, as well as all the other places of interest including the historical forts, battlements and creeks which can only be admired from the sea. We cruise into every creek showing you the closest possible views. In the afternoon Free Time in Sliema or return to the hotel.

Day 6: St. Paul's Church & Catacombs, Mdina, Dingli Cliffs

This mornings tour will start off with a visits to the catacombs and church of St. Paul's in Rabat. We will then proceed on to Mdina - also known as the silent city, where we will be taken for a guided tour as well as visit to the cathedral and walk around the imposing bastions from where they could admire the panoramic view which commands most of the island. Before returning to the hotel we will visit the Dingli Cliffs.

Day 7: Gozo, Ggantija Temples, Victoria Citadel, Dwejra

Today we take a tour to Gozo - Malta's Sister Island. Upon arrival in Gozo we will visit the Ggantija Temples, Ta' Pinu Church and The Citadel in Victoria. In the afternoon we will visit Xlendi Bay and Dwejra - better known for the "Azzur Window" and the Inland Sea. At the end of the day we will take the ferry back to the hotel before our evening dinner.

Day 8: St. Paul's Island, Roman Baths, Mgarr, Mosta Dome

Depart hotel for a full day tour starting with a short boat ride to St. Paul's Bay Island in a typical Maltese Luzzu (where it is rumored that St. Paul was shipwrecked). We will have about half an hour to walk and take some pictures. We will then carry on to the northern area with visits to the Mellieha Sanctuary, the Roman Baths situated in the vicinity of Golden Sands, Mgarr as well as a stop at Mosta Church, which boasts of being the fourth largest unsupported dome.

Day 9: Homeward

After our breakfast we will be transferred to the airport where will take our transatlantic flight home to one of our ports by late afternoon.
