Day 1 • Departure
Relax on our night flight to Frankfurt.

Day 2
Arrive in Frankfurt
We arrive in Frankfurt and are greeted by our tour host during our stay. We begin with a brief tour en route to Mercure Residenz, then free time to explore on your own before a lovely dinner at your hotel.

Day 3
St. Paul's Church, Roemerberg Town Square
This morning our city tour shows you the most interesting sights of Frankfurt including St. Paul's Church, the Imperial Cathedral, the Roemer (City Hall) and the Town Square Roemerberg with its reconstructed half-timbered houses. We also see the Goethe House, birthplace of Germany's most famous poet, the International Fairgrounds, the Old Opera, the banking district and the Hauptwache with St. Katherine's Church and the shopping area at the 'Zeil'. You will see the Old Towers of the City Defense, the museums mile, the picturesque amusement quarter in Sachsenhausen before heading back to your hotel. This afternoon will be free for you to enjoy on your own.

Day 4 - 6

The following three days will be free for you to enjoy on your own, or join our optional tour for the day.

Day 7
Free Day
Today will be your final day in Frankfurt and is free for you to enjoy however you may please.

Day 8
Homeward Bound
Today we are transferred to the airport for our flight back to the US.

Day 4 • Rudesheim & Rhine Land
Optional Day Tour - 10 hours
An unforgettable full day trip to the Rhine Valley. Passing Wiesbaden we reach Rudesheim, the most famous of all wine villages. Sightseeing and free time for shopping is followed by a lovely steamer trip. During the boat ride you will enjoy a unique view of the notorious Loreley Rock. We will stop by a local winery before returning to Frankfurt by bus.

Day 5
Heidelberg
Optional Day Tour - 8 hours
Romantic Heidelberg, regarded as one of Germanay's most beautiful cities is located on the River Neckar. Visit the world famous castle, showpiece of German Romanticism, a complex of partially destroyed buildings in Gothic and Renaissance styles surrounded by beautiful gardens and containing the world's largest wine barrel. See the medieval town centre with the mighty Old Bridge and Germany's oldest University, the church of the Holy Spirit and the Knights House with it's precious renaissance facade before returning back to Frankfurt this evening.

Day 6
Rothenburg
Optional Day Tour - 9.5 hours

This is a full day excursion to the most beautiful and best preserved medieval town in all of Germany. It is here we will begin a sightseeing walk through the picturesque streets. We visit St.Jacob's Church with its famous altar by Tilman Riemenschneider, see half-timbered houses and the mighty Town Hall built in Renaissance style before returning back to Frankfurt this evening.
