Canyon Country beckons you this morning, and you answer its call by traveling south to Moab, Utah. This scenic town has been used as a backdrop for movies such as John Ford's classic Wagonmaster, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. As you explore, you'll understand just why so many directors have chosen to shoot their movies here. The ancient Anasazi left an indelible impression on the Four Corners area. Today you'll see one of the world's most comprehensive collections of Anasazi artifacts at Edge of the Cedars Museum. Enjoy lunch at Goulding's Trading Post, built for the production of the classic, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon; then you'll take a tour of Monument Valley, setting for Planet of the Apes, Maverick, Forest Gump and a multitude of major motion pictures. Arrive at scenic Lake Powell for overnight. (B,L)
